Even if employees are satisfied with their compensation and benefits, they may still leave the company if they are subject to toxic behavior. In fact, a survey conducted by Randstad found that more than 53% of employees have left the organization due to a toxic work environment, and 60% of them have mentioned they wouldn't return, even for a higher pay and benefits! In addition to the factors stated in the article, flexible working hours, sick leave policies, maternity/paternity leave policies and insurance cover would increase employee engagement which in turn would increase employee loyalty and retention rates.
